What exactly is a cosmetic repair?

A cosmetic repair restores the look of a damaged surface — a chip, scratch, crack, burn or scuff — without replacing the whole item. We rebuild the damaged area and re-finish it, matching the colour, pattern and sheen so the repair blends in and the damage effectively disappears.

I thought I'd have to replace it — can it really be repaired?

Very often, yes. Most people don't realise that a chipped bath, scratched worktop, cracked tile, damaged door or faded uPVC frame can be repaired in place. Replacing the item is usually the most expensive and disruptive option — a repair is typically a small fraction of the cost and far less hassle. Send us a photo and we'll tell you honestly whether it's repairable.

What kinds of surfaces and materials do you work on?

Almost any hard surface: kitchen worktops (laminate, solid surface, wood, granite, quartz), baths, shower trays, sinks and basins, wall and floor tiles, laminate, vinyl, LVT and wood flooring, uPVC windows, doors, sills and cladding, composite and wooden doors, kitchen units, garage doors and wooden furniture.

Will the repair be visible?

Our aim is an invisible finish. We colour-match and texture-match the repair to the surrounding surface so that, in normal use, you won't be able to see where the damage was. On feature or high-gloss surfaces we'll always be upfront about what's achievable.

Do you also respray and recolour, not just repair?

Yes. As well as repairs, we respray and recolour uPVC windows and doors, kitchen cabinets, garage doors and more — for example taking tired white uPVC to anthracite grey, or updating a dated kitchen to a fresh colour. It's a fraction of the cost of replacing them.

Which areas do you cover?

We're based in Chard and cover Somerset, Devon and Dorset, including Taunton, Yeovil, Ilminster, Crewkerne, Honiton, Axminster, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Sherborne and many more. If you're not sure whether we reach you, just ask.

How much will my repair cost?

Every job is different, so we give a free, no-obligation quote before any work begins. The easiest way to get a price is to send us a few photos of the damage along with rough measurements, and we'll come back to you.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured, and every repair is carried out to a professional standard with minimal disruption to your home.

How do I get a quote?

Call us on 07588 330084, send a message through our contact form, or message us on social media with a photo of the damage. We respond to enquiries quickly — usually within 24 hours.

Got Damage You Thought Meant Replacing It?

Send us a photo of the chip, scratch, crack or faded finish. We'll tell you honestly if we can repair it — usually for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. Free, no-obligation quotes.
